Snap by Siinda – DMA Compliance

In the latest installment of Snap by Siinda, our short video series for March, we delve into the topic of DMA compliance. The Digital Markets Act introduces new regulations and responsibilities for gatekeepers in the digital sphere.

There are six primary gatekeepers identified: Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, ByteDance, Meta, and Microsoft. These gatekeepers are mandated to facilitate easy uninstallation or modification of default settings for end users. They must also provide options for unsubscribing from core platform services. Furthermore, they are required to enable third-party interoperability with their own services.

For a deeper understanding of these regulatory developments, we encourage you to watch the video.
