We, as leaders, are always starved for data. We want facts, analysis, and research and are given it, but even when surrounded by data, we often still need a clue. Why is that? Because even if we are starved for data, we drown in it. Sometimes we must find a way to differentiate between valuable data and data waste. As leaders, we often need to learn how to set up our organizations to ensure they focus on valuable data. We must determine how it can contribute to our business growth when we finally get it.
