Professional sport is a business in which success and results are the measure of all things. This is especially true for trainers. The oft-cited external perception is: “success has many fathers, failure only one, the coach”. In his long career, Bauermann not only won championships and titles, but also experienced low points, which were often more instructive and ultimately more positive for him than his many successes.   “For me, professional sport is first and foremost a people’s business. From many conversations with business leaders, I know how diverse the parallels are between these two most important areas of life alongside politics. Success in both areas is only possible if it is possible to optimize human potential and to bring them into contexts in which they can optimally develop their strengths and talents in the spirit of a common task. In this respect, many of the strategies and techniques used in professional sports are undoubtedly also very interesting and applicable for managers and employees of companies.”   The title of his Keynote at SIINDA live/ [vdav] is: “ lessons learned – the secrets of winning in pro sports”.   More about Dirk at dirkbauermann.de
