It is one year and approximately one month since Russia invaded Ukraine. An act almost no one thought would happen. So where are we today? What is the current situation, and what are the motives behind Putin’s actions? More importantly, what have we learned in the political arena, and what can leaders learn from this tragic situation? In this episode, we discuss the current state of affairs and what leadership lessons we can learn from this conflict.

Dr. Jeffrey D. McCausland, a retired Colonel from the U.S. Army and former Dean of Academics at the U.S. Army War College. McCausland is the founder & CEO of Diamond6 Leadership & Strategy, LLC. Diamond6 Leadership & Strategy, LLC has worked with thousands of individuals from organizations nationwide to develop the next generation of leaders. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Army Airborne and Ranger schools, and the Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. He holds a master’s and Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. Dr. McCausland is also a national security consultant for CBS Radio and Television.
