Joel is a product and go-to-market leader with 25+ years of experience driving business results, launching zero to one products and developing leaders of leaders at the intersection of search & recommender systems, AI and ML systems, ecommerce and digital advertising. Most recently he led the $100+mm P&L for Wayfair's Performance Advertising and Merchandising Services organization, launching a zero to one product that grew sales 20-30% per month into a $20mm annual run rate business in under 9 months. Previously he spent 6 years at Amazon leading a $250mm P&L in search advertising supply and building the customer feedback experiences for Alexa including several patented customer experiences and algorithms. He has also been a successful entrepreneur and CEO in Silicon Valley with expertise in B2B and consumer industries, and he started his career as a corporate attorney with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. Joel is also a board member for a nonprofit in Washington DC focused on health equity.
